• I’m Shannon, the founder & creative director of The Words Work Agency. I’m a ghostwriter, creative director (copy), and brand messaging consultant in Columbus, OH.

I write soulful content for purpose-driven brands to communicate values, motivate teams, and inspire action that makes a difference in culture and community.

• I’m passionate about the music of language and believe in the power of narrative applied to brands and their ability to help shape our experience in the world.

• I’ve been an entrepreneur in the creative industry for almost 20 years – as a writer, strategist, storyteller, photographer, designer, and studio owner.

• I’ve worked with known brands like Gatorade and the Cincinnati Bengals – and for start-ups, solopreneurs, and emerging thought leaders.

• I love the challenge of a blank page: coming up with ideas and turning them into words, images, and designs.
